How to Wear Your Baby

Modern research and centuries of tradition have taught us that babies who are carried are provided with so many valuable benefits.  Babies love and need to be held and many parents have come to understand the bonding importance of being close to their babies.  But many mothers have asked the question "How can I carry my baby and get anything done?"  Here it is!  The Little Star Baby Sling leaves both hands free for work or play while your baby enjoys the warmth and comfort of your closeness.  A sling baby is secure and content and the mother finds her baby enjoyable and completing!

*Designed for newborns through to 30lbs.*

      Included with each
      sling is...

  • a 10-page instructional booklet, "The Science and Fine Art of Babywearing", describing the philosophy of babywearing as well as clear and detailed instructions on how to "Wear Your Baby!"
  • a linen sachet containing wild-harvested lavender, renowned for its calming and balancing properties.
Cradle Carry   Cradle Carry
The Cradle Carry and its variations are useful from birth throughout the first year.  Some babies enjoy riding semi-upright in the sling while others prefer nestling more horizontally.
Forward Facing Carry Forward Facing Carry
Once your baby has developed good head control along with a growing sense of curiosity he or she may want to see more.  Many will now prefer the 180 degree view this position provides.
Cuddle Carry Cuddle Carry
A most comforting and calming position useful from birth to six months.  Lift your baby up a little so that his or her head nestles into your neck and sometimes just your warm breath on your baby's head will calm him or her.
Hip Carry Hip Carry
Once your baby can sit without support, you and your baby will enjoy the Hip Carry.  Baby's bottom rests on your hip while his or her legs protrude from the sling and straddle your side.
Around the Back Around the Back
This carry is used before your baby reaches the crawling stage.  This is perfect for when you need maximum mobility for your hands with your baby safely tucked behind.
Safety Hip Carry Safety Hip Carry
An ideal position for when you need "hands-free"  in front with your child safely out of reaching distance.  This is a favorite position of the curious toddler who can peer around your side and watch what you are doing.
